Offline gaming
Self playing games have been vastly successful in the past, and we’d like to tap in on that as well somehow. Black Desert Online provides a ton of self playing elements that makes certain things a lot easier. No one wants to log in to a game and spend hours grinding for resources you’d need to craft and use something in seconds. In BDO you can do a lot of the farming automatically.

General
Like most survival games you start with nothing, gather what you can and then survive. Same thing here, you gather by day and defend yourself by night. Crafting and building systems are core gameplay elements, but also skill trees and specializations. Todo: Chris ADD TO SUMMARY
Instances/Dungeons
Certain areas or buildings could hold more valuable loot, and greater quantities. Let's say you enter a Mall, there are ton of stores with all kinds of items, but a Mall is generally located in more central areas in cities, so there are a lot of zombies to go through to even get there. Once inside, same thing. Lots of zombies. The idea is to have certain buildings and areas where you know loot will be good, and better, but also the difficulty obtaining it. In other games this is instanced as its own area with bosses and mobs, and we could definitely go the same route, but would be cooler if these areas are just like any other area on the map and not explicitly broadcasted as a dungeon/instance.
